The Icitabo Project #14

We have some great news this week for you from us here at the Icitabo Project, and we have made some other fantastic progress for you too!

We have recently received the news that we have been accepted to present before the YSI Den, and we are very excited by this development. The YSI Den is like the "Dragon's Den" of the YSI, and if we were to be chosen to receive their help, it would prove exceptionally helpful to our cause. We are very thankful to be chosen to speak, and we hope to bring you some good news soon!

Yesterday, on Friday the 2nd, everyone from the Icitabo Project went on a tour to the Irish Aid Centre in Dublin, which we all found very enjoyable. We watched the short film "Memory" about a young girl's life in a rural African village, and we undertook an interactive learning experience about the importance of food security in a life of poverty. We are very thankful to our hosts, Caoimhe and Sinead for all their help, and we found the entire experience very interesting.

Our fundraising committee are busy at work again organising a church collection in Clontarf, and we encourage you to try and donate even a little, as every euro really does help with our project.

As always, thank you for your continued support!

~The Icitabo Team
