We have had another fantastic week over here at the Icitabo Project, and our fundraising committee has made some great progresss with their efforts.

Tomorrow, on Sunday the 21st, members of our fundraising team are taking part in church collections all across Sutton, Raheny and Baldoyle in order to raise money for the furnishing of the library in Kabwe. There will be a small introduction of the project beforehand so the congregation will learn about the project and be able to share it with their friends and family.

As well as the church collections, many members of the Icitabo Team are participating in the Runamuck Challenge, a 5k obstacle course on the 10th of March. The participants will collect money from their local area on sponsorship cards, and we encourage you to try and donate a few euro to their collections.

Members of the fundraising team will also be attending a formal Gala event hosted by the ZAMDA foundation, and will have the chance to do a small presentation about the Icitabo project and hopefully raise some money as well. All of these events organised by the Fundraising committee are invaluable in our efforts to furnish the library for the children of Kabwe, and we all hope that they are successful in their efforts.

Finally, we have completely redesigned and redrafted our YSI den application with all of the new information we received from Pat Fanning on his visit to our school. Our new application is currently under review by our YSI co-ordinator, and we hope that it will give us an even better chance of being accepted into the program.

As always, thank you for your continued support,

~The Icitabo Team
