This week at the Icitabo Project, we have slowed down a little bit due to the Christmas Holidays, but we are still working hard towards our goal. Our translations committee are making some great progress, and have managed to contact both Facebook and Google to arrange a meeting with regard to digital marketing, and how we can improve the visibility of our project, and a list has been compiled of contactable high-profile people who can help spread awareness for our project. They have also been in contact with multiple local app developers, to help develop a Bemba phrasebook app.
Our fundraising committee is also working diligently to organise several charity events, with all donations received going towards the shipping of the books and construction of the library. These events will be underway in January, and we hope that you will be able to help support us through these events.
Finally, the St Fintans Zambia Immersion Project will be taking place soon, and various students will be selected for the chance to go to Kabwe in person to physically help with the children attending Sables Nua. If you are unable to donate to the Icitabo Project, we encourage you to try and help with the Immersion Project instead.
As always, Thank you for your continued support, and we hope that you have a very happy new year!
~The Icitabo Team
