We have had yet another busy week here at the Icitabo Project, and we have seen the first of our hard work pay off.
On Thursday and Friday, the fundraising committee held a hurling blitz at lunchtime within the school for the junior students, and it was a great success. Over 40 students participated in the competition, and we received over €80 in donations from the entry fee of €2 . Each match was played on mini hurling pitches marked out in the sports field, and 8 teams of 5 participants played in total. In the end, the white team managed to come out on top, and won Dairy milk bars for all their team members. We hope that this will be the first of many fundraisers to come!

We have also been in contact with prefab suppliers to determine which will be the most suitable to install in Kabwe, and we hope to bring you further news as soon as possible.
